From Rochester, issues with minor electronic voting in the State Auditors race had DFLers re-registering. That didn’t prevent Zack Flipovich from winning the endorsement, and Rep. Dan Wolgamott coming in third.
DFLers also endorsed Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan for US Senate.
The DFLers leave Rochester later today “mostly” united. Its clear that the Loud Left is going to stay noisy, but momentum and money are on DFL with Trump’s weight and divisive primaries holding back Minnesota.
In Duluth, drama-com of a Saturday, the MN GOP endorsement race the speed of voting devices screeched to a halt when “irregularities” in balloting were discovered with Speaker Lisa Demuth and businessman Kendall Qualls were locked in a tight race that could have gotten to “no endorsement”. It’s as if spoiler Mike Lindell, was partially validated in his deep conspiracy about voting technology as he departed the convention.
The two US Senate primaries will now may be joined by a Republican Gubernatorial primary that is more crowded and more controversial than the bitter US Senate primaries voters will be following int August.
