I’m in Duluth, because we have endorsement battles here, in Rochester DFLers don’t have any contested races except for Auditor where the race between Zach Flipovich, Adam Jennings and Rep. Dan Wolgamot.
The pick of Ben Scheirer by Sen. Amy Klobuchar fit Klobuchar perfectly, but the safety of the pick can be defined by how little of a record Schierer has as a fmr Mayor.
We should learn Mike Lindell’s running mate – will it be Royce White? That’s a cringe moment for most Republicans at the convention, but 20 percent will cheer loudly.
State Rep. Elliot Engen quietly withdrew in the race for Auditor, instead he’ll be Rep. Peggy Bennett’s running mate. If successful he’d be the youngest and first Gen Z Lt. Gov in the country.
Today, the endorsement battle for Governor which will have at least 5 ballots.
